Last Post. July 14th
What a full day with an excursion to Avila and Segovia. We saw the beautiful walled city of Avila first from a scenic lookout and then from the inside. We then tried their famous Chuleton and Judias del Barco and finished the feast off with a new group favorite- arroz con leche. We then took a bus to Segovia and toured the Alcazar and dined at the famous Meson del Candido, right next to the acuaduct, and had their famous suckling pig and a traditional desssert- ponche segoviano. Tomorrow, the boys will have the option of visiting the Thyssen Museum or do some last minute soccer jersey shopping. My camera will be packed so this will be the last post of the trip.

Tuesday, June7th
We had a law professor from the University of Valencia speak to the class about Spanish government and history. The boys asked some great questions and they impressed themselves and their teachers with their ability to fully understand his lecture. We headed to an area of Valencia that is full of Calatrava architecture and then to the aquarium, the largest in Europe.
