The boys had a Basque sports class, wrote their final essay, and had the option of seeing Chillida's Combs of the Wind sculpture and enjoying the views from Igueldo amusement park.

Pintxos, Real Sociedad and rotisserie chicken
After classes, the other half of the group took a pintxo tour in the old town. We then all headed to Real Sociedad's training grounds where we had a tour, did some soccer drills with a couple of their coaches, and then ate at a really good chicken joint.

Cooking Society
Yesterday the boys had a free afternoon to hit the beach and work on their projects. Today they learned about cooking societies, San Sebastian's version of an adult fraternity. With the help of a member, they helped make a fantastic dinner.

Guernica and San Juan Gaztelugatxe
Today we headed to the important city of Guernica, which was bombed by Franco and his buddies Hitler and Mussolini. Then we headed to San Juan Gaztelugatxe, also known as Dragon's Rock in Game of Thrones.
