Basque language and Surf classes

Yesterday the boys had an introductory class of Basque language.  Today was warm and they had a 2 hour surf lesson.

Pasajes

Today we hiked over Ulia Mountain to the villages of San Pedro and San Juan in the port of Pasajes.  We had great views, a quick look into Victor Hugo's house, a great tour of a museum that is recreating a 16th century Basque ship and finally a luxurious fish lunch, which included kokotxas, which are the the fish gullets.

Tolosa

Our first full day in San Sebastian included a trip to Tolosa, a small city in the interior of the province.  We came on it's market day, so we tasted some local cheese and fresh bread.  We then ate steak at a well known restaurant, Casa Julian, and then visited a puppet museum.  We also happened upon a part of a wedding outside the city hall.
