The first Woodberry in Spain excursion to Arcos dela Frontera was a big hit. It is a beautiful "Pueblo Blanco," part of the white villages that dot Andalusia. One of the highlights was buying pastries from a convent through a system that prevented the nuns from seeing the customer.

Honey Farm and Cádiz
We started our day with a tour of a honey farm near Jerez. The boys learned how honey is made and were able to wear bee handling gear and visit the hives. Afterwards, they each were able to make a wax candle. We then went to the historic city of Cádiz, one of the oldest in Europe. They saw the cathedral and climbed one of its many watch towers (built for incoming ships loaded with goods from the Americas in the 16th century. I have also included some of the boys' photos from the Alcázar.
