We spent our last day in Oviedo exploring more of the city and its specialties, like the Carbayon pastry. We boarded a late bus to Galicia where we will spend a week in La Coruña and explore the region. Of course there is a month long celebration that just started with food booths set up and shows every day. We got some tortillita de camarones from a Cadiz booth and of course pulpo a la feria at which is the number one Galician dish. Beach and market trips were also in order. I got some great langostinos, chicken, fruit and vegetables and cooked up a simple meal using olive oil, garlic and salt. The peppers are the local padron and they are barely spicy but very tasty grilled and salted.
