Cortijo

Last night we had one of Spain's top wine experts give the boys a lesson on Spanish wine, how to taste it and how to pair it with food.  Today we went to an Andalusian ranch, called a Cortijo, where the boys saw how fighting bulls are raised.  We also hired a professional bullfighter to explain his craft and the boys had a chance to practice with baby bulls.  Great appetizers and a grilled meal was the perfect ending.

Cantaora

A real life cantaora (flamenco singer) came to class to show the boys how hard it is to sing and clap at the same time.  All the boys tried to do a fragment of a song about Triana, their neighboring neighborhood.
