Yesterday afternoon, after our normal morning classes, the boys had a trio of classes with Jesús Díaz. In Spain, Chus is a nickname for Jesús. He taught them art and religion in La Hospital de la Caridad, easily my favorite hidden gem of Seville. He then took them to Plaza España to see an early 20th century architectural feat, built for a World´s Fair type event for Spanish speaking countries. He then took them to a classroom and taught a short, but intense literature class. He has now worked with us for 8 years and commented that this is the best group we have had, and he had always been impressed with our students.
