After an uneventful flight (though the economy section United provides is beyond compact) we landed in Madrid. As usual, our plan is to taxi to our hotel, drop off our bags in whatever rooms are ready at 8am, grab breakfast, get Spanish cellphones, have our very traditional lunch at El Brillante (calamari sandwiches, for some reason a Madrid staple) some free time to settle into the rooms, shower, explore the city, and finally our special steak dinner at Casa Paco (Woodberry's home for a great steak for over 20 years.)
