Mercado Central and the 4th

We had a tour of the market with one of Valencia's best chefs.  Jordi gave some great tips on how to pick food out at the stalls and how to tell if it is fresh.  He then gave us samples of olives, olive oils, cheeses and hams for tastings and explanations of the different kinds there are in Spain.  Then, after seeing an exhibition of old photos of Valencia in the MUVIM museum, we went to Chef Jordi's restaurant, Carosel, for a memorable meal.  We then celebrated the 4th at a mall where the boys played laser tag and ate an all you can eat Asian buffet meal.
