Today we headed out to Montjuic to see the castle and Joan Miro museum, take a gondola down to the port and walked along the beach to the Olympic Port where we had lunch, then up to La Sagrada familia. The boys then took their last exam in the hotel. We saved a great restaurant, La Cerveseria Catalana, for our last dinner.

Guell, Boqueria, Palau de Musica Catalana, Camp Nou
Chapel at Camp Nou |
Another full day in Barcelona. After a civilized breakfast we headed for
Guell Park, where Gaudi had planned to build a housing development. We then hit the Boqueria, a market that
rivals the Valencia market. The boys
were given money to find their lunch in the many restaurants inside the
market. Next was a tour of the beautiful Palau de Musica Catalana. We then gave the boys free time
to explore the city or go to Barcelona’s stadium, Camp Nou, for a tour.

Barcelona
We had a nice train ride up the Mediterranean coast from Valencia to Barcelona. We checked in and headed out to see some of Gaudi's work at Casa Battlo and La Pedrera. After a long walking tour of the city and the Rambla, we had a somewhat disappointing meal at a usually reliable restaurant.
