Fine Arts Museum and other stuff

Today the boys had a random history class with tapas.  Then they had a tour over the severely underrated Museo de Bellas Artes.  I have also included some great photos from some of the boys of their tour of Santa Cruz neighborhood and the hidden gem of Seville- La Hospital de Caridad, full of Murillo paintings.

Winding down Seville

The boys headed out after class to get their last walk through Seville and to explore its many fascinating places.  They have to film different parts of the city before we leave this Thursday.

No photos today.

Spanish cinema class, Spanish-American War and Plaza España

The boys had a class from a director and script writer of Spanish movies.  Then they had an afternoon session about two accounts of the same battle of the Spanish-American war and learned how to deal with two truths.  Then they had a fantastic explanation of the beauty that is Plaza España.

Barbate

We visited the town of Barbate, near Gibraltar.  It is one of the 4 towns that practice the Phoenician way of catching bluefin tuna using a maze of nets.  After a churro breakfast, we saw a museum dedicated to this and then ate at perhaps the world's best tuna restaurant, El Campero.
