We arrived in Madrid and got to our hotel without lines or delays. No rooms were ready at such an early hour so they stored our bags and we headed out to breakfast. We then completed the tedious but necessary task of getting everybody their Spanish cell phones. Lunch at El Brillante, famous for their calamari sandwich, gave the boys a chance to sample many Spanish classics. Real Madrid stadium was closed for construction so the boys passed through the store and then headed to Madrid's main park- Retiro. Up next was Madrid's museum dedicated to 20th century artists like Dalí, Picasso and Miró. We ended with a fabulous steak dinner at the classic Casa Paco.
