Escorial, Valle de los Caídos, El Prado, Churros con chocolate

This morning the boys had a chance to visit El Escorial and Valle de los Caídos.  Follow the links for a description, but in a nutshell the first is the burial palace for most of the Spanish kings and the second is a monument to the civil war and Franco's burial place.

We then returned to Madrid and visited the grand Prado Museum, home to works from El Greco, Goya and Velazquez.  The boys were quite impressed.  We then met up with Iñigo, the Woodberry assist student from Madrid, who then ate 100 Montaditos with them.  This is a fast food chain that actually makes good quality mini sandwiches.  Next was churros con chocolate and the uber-famous Chocolatería San Ginés and some dancing with Inigo and some of his Madrid friends at a disco next to the hotel.
