Segovia and Reina Sofía museum

After our morning breakfast we headed to Segovia, well known from their first century aqueduct, beautiful cathedral and palace (alcazar) and most importantly, roasted suckling pig.  We went to the classic Mesón del Cándido where Sr. Cándido himself described how Segovia came to be the home of this dish and he then cut the pig with a pate.

When we returned to Madrid, we headed to the Reina Sofía museum which houses modern Spanish art by Picasso, Dalí and Miró.
