We took a visit t\o the nearby town of Carmona. It was an important Roman city in its day and the ruins show much about its culture, particularly its necropolis, which is really well preserved. We then toured the town and had a birthday celebration with some local pastries. Going through the Moorish gate showed the boys some of their methods of defending the city. On top of this entrance to the city were some nesting eagles. Up top is a picture of the boys in the drying room of the Jabugo ham tour the day before.
