No time to rest!

After a 2 hour delay on the runway in Dulles and a one day taxi strike waiting for us in Madrid, our group of 10 boys made adjustments and took the city bus into the center of the city and walked to our hotel.  We headed to our rooms, freshened up and headed to El Brillante, which is becoming our go to first meal in Spain.  It is a classic bocadillo (sub) joint that specializes in Madrid's odd signature sandwich, the calamari bocadillo.  Then we headed to the cellphone store, which is always a lesson in ultraslow customer service.  Next a tour of Real Madrid's stadium and a steak dinner at the classic Casa Paco, where Woodberry boys have been feasting on beautiful steaks served on scalding hot plates for well over 20 years.
